We were talking on the phone to someone not 10 miles away who was in sunshine and blue skies and the sky was black with thunder , lightening, and solid sheets of rain coming down. I loved it, and we did not have to water the gardens!

Crock pots, I love them and use ours frequently....meat, seasonings, veggies, sometimes broth and water....I put them on slow and leave the house to work in the yard, gardens, what ever, and come in hours later to a wonderful meal! We love clam chowder here, homemade even more~so...
While we were stationed in Alaska, we went clam digging on the beach. Our family sure did enjoy those clams, along with fresh salmon, and a few halibut. We ate some sort of seafood every night as we camped our way back home from Veldez to Fairbanks.

God Is Good!
MelMelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09182682229829890445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5661648985137682830.post-25455944333829856642009-06-11T14:49:10.961-07:002009-06-11T14:49:10.961-07:00I must confess, I've never owned a crock pot! ...I must confess, I've never owned a crock pot! Living in air conditioned homes - we eat hot food even on hot days. Of course my preference would be a corn chowder with a little chicken and jalapeno to give it personality LOL - crock pots are mighty fine things. Don't over heat the kitchen and I don't worry so much about "did it turn that off before we left the house?" Any leftovers??LindaSuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01684545110832413808noreply@blogger.com
