Reminds Me Of A Song by Irving Berlin

I was blue,
just as blue as I could be
Evry day was a cloudy day for me
Then good luck came a-knocking at my door
Skies were gray but they're not gray anymore
-
Blue skies
Smiling at me
Nothing but blue skies
Do I see
-
Bluebirds
Singing a song
Nothing but bluebirds
All day long
-
Never saw the sun shining so bright
Never saw things going so right
Noticing the days hurrying by
When youre in love, my how they fly
-
Blue days
All of them gone
Nothing but blue skies
From now on
-
I should care if the wind blows east or west
I should fret if the worst looks like the best
I should mind if they say it cant be true
I should smile, thats exactly what I do
-
The sky's were blue a bit yesterday and certainly when I went out to take pictures. But the sentiment in this song is this: the feeling in a heart matters little to what is really in the sky.
-
Love may certainly have something to do with it but all love, all love that is real, and true and lasting, begins in God. God is Love. No matter the worldly look on a situation, in Jesus our situation is always a clear blue day
-
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1John 4:7-11

I've just read everything I had missed. I think you might spend 12 hours working and 12 hours writing. Man.
When do you sleep.
The piece on seeds was good. This is a deep subject.
I also think of myself as a propagator but my wife doesn't hold the same facination as I with the subject.
It won't warm up here and now they're talking a snow storm for this weekend. Of course. We are to present our community choir's contata Sunday night. That plus I have taken my snow blower off of my tractor.

We have an ongoing discussion in our household about God's favorite color - I hold that it is green - the multitude of shades and hues of green are such a delight He created so it must be His favorite - DH says Blue - simply blue because look at all the blue - sky and oceans and water --guess we'll find out in eternity. Your post is delightful - those daffies are just screaming SPRING

What a beautiful picture with the yellow of the daffodil against the blue sky.
Great old song!

Maybe I can hear that online. But beautiful blue sky. Isn't Washington, at least your part, good when it comes to plenteous blue skies?

We have another gray day here. Snow in the mix. Can't remember the last time I saw a blue bird. They are lovely.

Go State! (in the big game in Detroit tonight- though I'm a Buckeye, I'm rooting for State, as in MSU Spartans this evening)

I enjoyed this one too, Lanny. Great thoughts about the greatest of all loves. It really is all that we need.
