This photo story was not posed in any way by any of the humans that were witness to these silly cats.
Besides, when has a cat ever done what you wanted it to?
I'm not sure, but I think these cats need to know that this is not what I am paying them for. Oh wait, they are rather entertaining.
For those who need to know, the orange cat is Ranch Hand and the brown tabby is Farm Boy.
This is the exact order of pictures.
All totaled, this exchange took eight minutes.

AHA HA HA HA HA! I love cats. Great post, Lanny! Thanks for the laugh. :-D
Ha ha! Ralphie's relatives are every bit as entertaining as he is!And don't you think an entertaining cat or two, ( or 3 or 4 as in your case) is worth the extra cat food and bother? Have I mentioned we LOVE Ralphie?
Sometimes cats seem like one of the most intelligent species on earth and then other times ..... this happens. You have to wonder, why? Is it the stripes they like? The smell of that particular basket? Or maybe just the fact that the other cat wants to sleep there ... for our dogs, that is the case. They will pile on to make a 3 tiered doggy pile because 'dog on bottom' decided to try to fall asleep inside the wine barrel dog house and the rest must follow. Oh, and why do 'Ranchhand and Farmboy' think they should be allowed to snooze the day away? =) Great post!!!!
You did a great job capturing those little moments. THanks for sharing with us.
I have to admit I am not a real big cat person but those photos sure made me smile.
Ralph
cats are so clever - they get what they want even when they don't know why they want it. I do miss having more than one cat around - it is the intercation which is felineascinating
Adorable!
Lanny: You can train a dog but a cat does whatever it wants.
It kept you entertained for eight minutes!! Cute cats! :)
