"Look at this, you tromped through my garden!
"You shoved through here?! Crummamoly Chuck! What's the matter, dinner not coming fast enough for you?!
"Look, you practically sunk to your hocks jumping over here."
Dirt says, "Come on Chuck, your days are getting numbered a little shorter, bud.
"You two need to stay put, or else!" Lanny says insistently as she turns for the house."Pbbbbbbbbbtt" an impolite sound is heard coming from the barnyard.
Lanny turns back around toward the sound and looks closer at the offenders. "You two are unbelivable. How dare you give me a raspberry! My freezer is nearly empty you know, I'll have the last laugh over this before I'm through with you two! Lanny shouts a warning threat as she turns on her heal and heads to the house one last time for the Goucho Roast she put in the crock pot at lunch time. I said goucho not groucho.

Looks like Chuck was causing a lot of trouble. I wonder who the ringleader was, the cow or the sheep? I hope they stay out next time!
I love the picture of the two with their tongues sticking out at you. You sure know how to spoil a calf's day don't you ? But then again, I think they know how to spoil yours!

I'm laughing aloud - first at the audacious livestock and second at your response. Oh , KathyB's motto contribution is great! Be Nice or Be Tasty - emblazoned on barns across the country - woo hoo. Wasn't it Robert Frost who told us "good fences make good neighbors"? Could be paraphrased - good fences make longer livestock lives. Thanks for the chuckles - the adventures of Lanny -keeper of the critters and cucina (I had to use a foreign word for kitchen to make it a cutesy remark - I'm all over cutesy today)
Never trust farm animals. Ya never know what's going in their fuzzy brains. I like the saying quoted above of "Be nice or be tasty". I wonder if that would work with my 3 worthless dogs? ha ha

What a cute, funny post! It made me smile and I loved that last picture with both of them sticking their tongues out. Too cute! I once did a whole post on my blog with just pictures of different animals on our farm with their tongues out. I was surprised how many I had! LOL.

If I had to spend all day saturday repairing and replacing an electric fence then you can too.
Last year I seeded a large area of the farmstead to grass and had a great stand and it rained 2 inches one night and that's when the horses got out. Not all ten. Just seven of them. Ruined the whole deal. Poop.

Yes, I put out my cool crops ~ some cabbages, broccoli, spinach and lettuces. It should make a nice salad bowl!
