Happy Flag Day
Last year we put in a permanent flag pole (we didn't need a T.V. antenna any more) we used to put up an alder pole every year on Flag Day commencing our "summer camp" season. It is true that after the girls got a little older we stopped replacing them so often. So we solved the problem with a permanent pole. For flag day this year I thought I would share the pictures.

I go to great lengths to avoid having pictures of myself taken and subsequently displayed in any way. My picture on Facebook is my clever little illustration of that fact (it's a picture of me sleeping, the best way to get a picture of me). I'm more than a little uncomfortable about those flag day pictures. At least I can take small solace in the fact that they were all taken from behind me :D
